HI!! It's that time of year; the mornings are cooler and the days are getting shorter. To celebrate this time of year, I came up with a fun little mini album using Basic Grey's Ambrosia collection and "Butterfly Garden" by Samantha Walker Unity Stamps. If you're in love with red rubber as much as I am, you have to get to Scrappin' Happily Ever After and check out her "collection" of Unity Stamps available for purchase. I'll be teaching it at Scrappin' Happily Ever After on Thursday October 21st at 10:30 and again sometime in November. The cost is $30. We'll be stamping and embossing, covering chipboard and many other techniques. Hope to see you soon!
I love making home decor projects! We're starting something new at Scrappin' Happily Ever After and making banners for all the upcoming holidays! We're starting with Halloween. The paper used is Basic Grey's Eerie collection and American Crafts fabulous glitter paper. We're also making a Frankenstein bag for storing your banner. Class is on Sunday, September 26th at 1 PM. The cost of the class is $30. Please call the store at 843-261-2665 to reserve your spot. Space is limited!
Long time no see! So much has been going on in the last couple of months this poor blog has taken a backseat to the rest of my life. But since Ivy at Scrappin' Happily Ever After has been on my back I thought I'd update you with an upcoming class (love you Ivy!:)
This pretty little album is MDF and so much fun to make! We'll be doing quite a few techniques in class. We're stamping, painting, glimmer misting and more! The cost of the class is $30 and will be taught on Friday, August 27th and again on Saturday, September 4th. Space is limited so call and reserve your spot soon!
Ivy spotted this FUN paper and just had to order it for the store. I'm so glad she did, it's so adorable! This mini album has some fun techniques thrown in. We'll be doing a stamping technique called scratch-n-sniff. All of the strawberries you see in the album smell like strawberries! We'll also be making our own envelopes, a mini accordion book and a mini scrapbook page(which I forgot to get a picture of:)). The first class is on Thursday, April 29 at 10:30 AM. Cost is $30. Call Scrappin' Happily Ever After to reserve your spot today. There will be a second offering for this class at a date that has yet to be set.
I'm so in love with all of Basic Grey's new lines! Kioshi has become one of my favorites for this time of year. I'll be teaching an 8 Card (with envelopes), 2 Page Layout Class on Sunday, May 2 at 12 PM. This is the second and last time the class will be offered and you don't want to miss it. Cost is $30. Call Scrappin' Happily Ever After at 843-261-2665 to reserve your spot!
Normally I like to post before I teach a class, but I guess it's better late than never on this one! We had this class yesterday and will be repeating it on Thursday, April 1 at 10:30 AM. In honor of the Flowertown Festival here in Summerville over the weekend, Ivy challenged me to come up with a class on making paper flowers. Some of them look difficult, but I promise you they're not, well for the most part! ;) We're making 3 each of 5 different flowers. For those of you who took the Love layout class a while back, we're doing the coffee filter flowers too. The Lollipop flower card looks a little different in class, we had a certain "customer" that said the flowers looked a little questionable, to quote her exactly "It looks like Charlize Theron's Dress from the Oscar's with the lopsided boobies!" Love you Val! If you're interested I know we have a few spots left for class. Contact Scrappin' Happily Ever After and reserve your spot today, well not today, we're closed, but first thing tomorrow!
This Thursday, March 18th at 10:30 I'll be teaching a Bind It All class. So many of you are new to the Bind It All machine, so I'm going to show you the ins and outs of creating your own bound books in a snap. We'll be creating an adorable little mini album from coasters and paper. Make sure you call or stop by Scrappin' Happily Ever After to reserve your spot.
We're doing our first Tween/Teen Class at Scrappin' Happily Ever After. I used the Teen Angst Paper line from We R Memory Keepers. What teen can't relate to this line with names like "Hardcore" and "Flirt". I also used a Fancy Pants Designs clear stamp set called "In My Words". This mini album/journal is very grungy and fun! Class is on Sunday, March 14 at 1 PM. Cost is $20. We'll also be altering a tin mailbox. Call Ivy at Scrappin' Happily Ever After at 843-261-2665 to reserve your spot. Here are a few of the pages. Stop by the store to see the whole album!
I've got birthdays on the brain! Riley's was February, Ethan's was yesterday and Ivy at Scrappin' Happily Ever After has 2 kids celebrating this month too! I had no choice but to come up with a Birthday Card Class. We'll be making a Welcome Baby, Kid, Feminine, Masculine and of course a Christmas Card. You'll be learning how to make an easel card, a pop-up card, a shaped card and a beautiful paper flower which you might recognize if you took my last box and bow class. The first class will be Thursday, March 11 at 10:30. The second class is Sunday, March 21st at 1 PM. The cost of this class is $25. Call now to reserve your spot with Ivy at Scrappin' Happily Ever After at 843-261-2665.
